Veronica is a registered professional counsellor with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). She specializes in in Trauma and Intimate Relationships counselling for the LGBTQ2SIA+ community and came out as transgender in 2016. Veronica practices a person-centred approach as well as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She has also trained in suicide prevention (ASIST) as well as having a background in working with neurodivergence.
Veronica has a Diploma in Professional Counselling and a Certificate in Counselling of Intimacy in Relationships obtained from the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. She is now attending University to complete her Bachelor of Social Work and then become a Registered Social Worker.
Laura Osorio is a certified coach and Somatica Method specialist with over three years of experience helping clients connect with their sexuality. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and working towards a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, she has helped more than 100 clients explore their desires and feel comfortable in their own skin.
As a counsellor, Laura works in an integrative way, providing her clients with a customized therapeutic plan tailored to their individual needs. She deeply respects her client’s beliefs, values, and needs, and always encourages them to express their true selves. Laura works at a gentle yet deep pace, creating a safe space for her clients to explore their inner processes. She believes everyone has the right to heal and know freedom in their being, and it is her absolute honor to be part of their journey.
